English Together 2008

For the thirteenth summer in a row, Russian-speaking schoolchildren, along with children and instructors from abroad, have a break and some fun learning at our summer camp by the sea.

Volunteer Search 2008
Volunteers are welcomed for our Summer Camp
If you are a native or near native English Speaker.
If you have an experience in working with children & truly enjoy doing it;
If you are eager to learn Russian, then you can join our friendly team.
You will work 4 hours a day – teaching, plus 3 hours for fun and leisure activities.
We will pay for your flight fare as long as it is not more than 600 dollars.
We will provide you with food & accommodation as well as 4 hours a day Russian tuition.

Register now and you’ll have the opportunity to take special Russian language courses in summer:

  • Business (starting from A2 level)
  • Culture & History
  • Art & Literature
  • A Course for Diplomacy Involved People (starting from A2 level)
  • A Course for Lawyers (starting from A2 level)

To register you should specify a course you prefer while filling out the application form in the field where your language use intentions are described.

Weekly Communicative Meetings!!!

For peak season period we offer you the chance to participate in our weekly meeting between foreign students and native students who study foreign languages at OLSC. These are held at noon, convenient time for everybody.

We guarantee you lots of communication, cultural and language exchange in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, accompanied by games, activities and soft drinks!

Special Additional Offer

Besides Russian language courses, we present you the offer of our associated law-partners, who are glad to assist you in the following questions:

Specially designed for attaches, embassy employees, diplomats and representatives of other professions connected with external diplomatic, business and trade activities, international cooperation relationships. Also suitable for Students studying diplomacy, economics, international law.
No entry visas from May 2005
OLSC is pleased to inform all of our prospective students from the EU and the USA that starting from May 2005 an entry visa to Ukraine is no longer needed . This move contributes to extending the cultural and educational exchange between Ukraine and European countries as well as the USA .

EAQUALS membership
EAQUALS (European Association for Quality Language Services) has made a vital decision to grant full membership of EAQUALS to Odessa Language Study Centre. The membership will be valid from January 2007 until December 2009.
TRKI (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language)
Preparation
OLSC is now able to provide preparation courses for TRKI (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language) exams according to the Standards of the Russian Ministry of Education. To get complete information and the list of the institutions in which you can take the exams please contact OLSC directly.
European Curriculum Framework
OLSC is the first language school in Ukraine to introduce European Curriculum Framework in all of its language courses. It is based on the Common European Framework elaborated by the European Council, which has put a great deal of thought and work into the communicative principles of language acquisition. OLSC end-of-course certificates will also conform to common European standards.
